And He 02:06
And He Wants all to be delivered And come to full knowledge of the Truth-- For the Lord our God is One And there is only One Mediator between us and Him. Jesus Christ is His Name, He Himself is human, too-- He gave Himself as ransom on our behalf. And this provides testimony to God's purpose At just the right time.

When we walked in the Land And we will walk free There again This was before fear found his teeth taught us to doubt The tree had its place, but we stayed away Oh, what turned our heads, that first lie now the same ever since: "Did He really say...?" --And truth is replaced Was it a dream? When we walked in the Land We will walk free There again The pardon came, but we were crowning kings and bowing down To sorcerers with pseudo-powers Oh, we've embraced the fakes, traded our prize for the first pretty face who speciously points the way through a wide open gate Can we go back? When we walked in the Land We will walk free There again We've always felt that what we see around us makes no sense But intellect only follows more dead ends Oh, He'll chase our hearts: the one Man Who won't miss the mark wins the war with a Word Invites us back in-- Take me by the Hand Then we'll walk in the Land Then You'll take me by the hand And we'll walk in the Land and we will walk free There again

To Define Us 04:19
Soon it will be cold You reach for the wool plaid Bright weave across your shoulders Some wounds the warmth of the flame Won't heal Still we'll swing the axe and stack the wood; hard Work: it keeps us breathing We've let winter in Branches swinging wildly with the wind We've let winter win if We let the darkness come within to define us Watch the frost spread, webbed Sparkling fissures: freezing Skin on glass How we've scratched at Stitches, picked at the scabs All the hurts we buried Surface again (when) We let winter in; we're Branches swinging wildly with the wind We've let winter win if We let the darkness come within to define us This isn't just another storm to blow over--we could go dormant And we would be done for (Are we done in?) Let the light in, Define us again

Until 04:14
I know we have to let go of gifts we no longer have, but it's hard to walk on and not look back. The walls of Jericho block the light from the Promised Land; at least the desert offered us warm sand, not this cold, unbroken stone; giants mock the hope we have Until the trumpets make these walls a rubble heap until we run up these rocks with a holy wind at our feet, until then, we will walk and not be weary if we have to go around the wall again. You've made the sun stand still, walled the waves when defeat was real; You keep Your Word though we're forgetful. These days: they praise what's wrong and slander good--chaos rules-- trouble, pain, and failures fill the hours as the enemy takes aim and strikes us again and again Until the trumpets make these walls a rubble heap until we run up these rocks with a holy wind at our feet, until then, we will watch and not be weary if we have to stand our ground again; until then, for now hold on--but when the perfect comes

My King, He had a smile that day as He welcomed her into His arms. For the love she offered to the least of these, He says, "Well done." She followed Me where I'd lead She believed in My Name and said she'd follow Me. He called us by name and we came to be beloved by the Son. The promise that we cling to has not failed, no-- and now her reward is won: Follow Me where I lead Believe in My Name and say you'll follow Me. I have prepared this place for you, that Where I go, there you will be with Me, too. In My Father's House there are so many more rooms Now wouldn't I tell you if it weren't true? Follow Me where I lead Believe in My Name and say you'll follow Me Home Call on Me, and say you'll follow Me Home.

I know longing the way I know Fire behind the smoke screen glows Blue heat beneath what seems stone cold We all live by stories, but we don't know what chapter we're in We re-read the beginning so we won't forget All the while, we want to know: how the last few pages go-- Are we on the side with the hero? I've known darkness the way I know The devil fights dirty to get you alone: Loneliness is a lie (but it still feels real) We all got old demons, some of them we'll wrestle down; Some of them have a hold and they won't let go. All the while, we want to know: who will win and who will lose? Fight in the battle, get bruised Nobody ever said that this side was easy, no-- If you're not hurt, you're not really living. With the seeking comes the finding, and The Giver is Good. I know endings the way I know Damascus will be flames and smoke Saints fly up while kings draw swords. And I know redemption the way I know Knocking opens up that door; His is the place you want to call home. Watch it unfold: Just like He wrote, so Come on now; it's time to be bold Knock on that door Come in, be shown: What the Giver gives is Good-- I know it. I read to The End.

Number Seven 02:24
I have made, and I will bear I will carry and will save. Remember the former things of old; For I AM God, and there is no other I AM God--there is none like Me. I have made, and I will bear I will carry and will save. I declare the end from the start: From ancient times, things not yet done; My council shall stand, I will accomplish All my purpose with My Hand. I have made, and I will bear I will carry and will save. I have spoken, I have purposed, I bring near my righteousness. It's not far off; I won't delay: I have made and I will save. I have made, and I will bear I will carry and will save.

November skies sleep late: spread its slight glow, slow burn 'til it bursts through the grey: watching the day break With you, the darkness is gone. There's a crack in the door and light on the floor, pouring in-- Shadows run sideways, making stripes with the shade and the sun: sitting inside here With you, the darkness is gone. Then it rains, watch flood-waters rise--cold weight rushing in at the walls, giving way. No matter how brave I'm not--even when I feel lost: you are my stronghold--and With you the darkness is gone.
